This damaged bathroom required Jasmine’s fresh perspective to help it into its next phase. A corner shower with an old glass door let in a limited amount of natural light. Grout was missing and damaged around the brown tile, contributing to leaks. The carpeting was not only dirty, but dated and impractical.

After: A Luxurious, Tiled Shower

No more cramped shower cave! Jasmine installed handmade, high-gloss tiles, transforming the formerly dingy bathroom into a luxurious retreat. She also opened up the shower, doubling the floor space and creating a spa-like ambiance. A pony wall topped with glass allows plenty of light to illuminate the space. Gold hardware adds extra sparkle.

The old kitchen in this home had more issues than the homeowners could count. The garbage disposal was broken and the old wooden cabinets left sawdust on shelves and in food. Before: A Dining Demo Gone Wrong

The sellers of this home added space to their dining room by knocking down a wall in the adjacent bedroom. Unfortunately, the new owners were never able to nail down their preferred aesthetic. And, when Jasmine and the team began to investigate the previous remodel, they learned that not only was the wall removed without an engineer, but the header beam installed in its place lacked support and compromised the stability of the house.

After: An Open-Concept, Coastal Dining Room

“It’s rare that we’re putting walls back in to improve the flow of an open-concept space,” said Jasmine, but in order to properly support the roof within the homeowners’ budget, the crew added the wall to get the job done right. The new wall also lends more space for decor and helps the dining room feel separated from the bedrooms in the hallway. The new space is outfitted with wooden shelves, modern lighting and built-in banquette seating for eight.
